i love california. every weekend i could drive an hour in any given direction and pretend i am on vacation. most of the time finding myself stumbling upon these places as if it was some sort of perfect accident. as with the discovery of this amazing highway literally hanging over the mountains as we made our way up to lake arrowhead over labor day weekend. rim of the world highway. our hour and a half drive from los angeles ended up being nearly three hours as we couldn't refrain ourselves from stopping and snapping away at the scenic wonders we were witnessing. we were so high up that it felt like we were chasing clouds, literally. and while standing up there as the wind carried my dress and hair away i couldn't help but to feel like i've got this young heart and old soul that wants so selfishly to take in all the divines that surrounded me.
